What is an electric hydrofoil surfboard (eFoil)?
An eFoil is a surfboard with a hydrofoil and an electric motor that allows you to glide above the water’s surface.
It combines advanced technology, balance, and power to deliver a smooth, silent, and thrilling ride — no waves or wind required.
How does the VelaraX eFoil work?
The VelaraX eFoil is powered by a 3000W BLDC motor and controlled via a wireless handheld controller.
The hydrofoil under the board lifts you above the water as you gain speed, giving the sensation of “flying” over the ocean.
How long does the battery last?
On a full charge, the VelaraX eFoil provides approximately 60–90 minutes of riding time, depending on speed, weight, and water conditions.
Charging takes around 2 hours using the included smart charger.
Is the VelaraX eFoil safe to use?
Yes. The board features a wireless safety cutoff, low-voltage protection, and stable buoyancy design.
Always wear appropriate safety gear (helmet and impact vest) and follow local water safety regulations.
Can I use the VelaraX eFoil in saltwater and freshwater?
Absolutely. The VelaraX eFoil is built from marine-grade materials and a full carbon-fiber body, ensuring durability in both salt and freshwater environments.
We recommend rinsing with fresh water after saltwater use.
